Mode of Recruitment
For NET 2021: The NET exam will consist of one paper of 150 marks consisting of 150 objective type multiple-choice questions. The duration of the paper will be 2 (Two) hours. Each question carries one mark. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
For Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Exam 2021: There will be a Preliminary examination, mains exam, and viva voce. ARS-2021 (Prelims) Examination will have one paper of 150 marks with 2 hours duration. The questions in the Examination will be available in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium. There will be 1/3rd negative marking for each wrong answer. The candidates who got qualified in the Preliminary Examination will be allowed to appear in the ARS (Mains) Examination. Mains exam 240 marks. Mains paper will be of 3 hours duration. Based on mains exam marks, candidates will be shortlisted for viva voce.
For Senior Technical Officer (STO) exam: The examination for STO will consist of one paper of 150 marks with all multiple choice objective questions to be attempted in 2 hours. The questions of the Examination will be in bilingual form i.e. Hindi and English medium. Candidates will be called for interviews, on the basis of written test performance.
